Rules and Regulations
The full Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2013 rules comprise the Shell Eco-marathon Official Rules 2013 Chapter I and the Asian Rules 2013 Chapter II.
Shell Eco-marathon Official Rules Chapter I
Shell Eco-marathon Chapter I Official Rules apply to all three regional events: the Americas, Europe, and Asia, and intentionally leave many design parameters, technologies and tactics unspecified in order to stimulate creativity and allow for a competition of novel ideas and solutions.
All participants are strongly encouraged to read and understand the rules completely and thorougly.
Shell Eco-marathon Asia Rules Chapter II
Shell Eco-marathon Asia rules chapter II outline specific details for the event taking place from 4-7 July 2013 at Sepang International Circuit, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, including:

- Safety
- Competition
- Trophies, prizes and awards
- Travel allowance
- Miscellaneous terms and conditions
