By air

Two major commercial airports serve Houston:

George Bush Intercontinental Airport: The George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is located 22 miles north of downtown Houston and has four terminals.

William P. Hobby Airport: is just 15 minutes south of downtown and has four runaways. Once you arrive, you will need to find transport from the airport to the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston.

By road

Houston is located in southeast Texas approximately km (45 miles) from the Gulf coast and is easily accessible via a number of major thoroughfares:

• State Highway 59 (northeast / southwest)
• Interstate 10 (east / west)
• Interstate 45

The George R. Brown Convention Center is located near the eastern side of Houston city centre.
