The first full day of racing was in full swing today, with a steady stream of teams taking to the track.
As the first full day of racing kicks off, one of the top priorities both on and off track is safety.
A student brass band, accompanied by flag dancers, kicked off the event with a local flavor this morning.
Day two starts with 40 teams through technical inspection other 74 teams are in final preparations before racings begin.
20 out of the first 50 teams pass their technical inspection, with last year’s winners Team 72 from Thailand first on the track.
Inspite of the rain, teams are ready to go on track for the competition.
Eight student teams from Singapore will hit the track at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete in the annual Shell Eco-marathon.
