Royal Dutch Shell plc: issuance of new shares

Royal Dutch Shell plc announces that it has today issued 27,498,073 A Ordinary shares in relation to the scrip dividend programme for the fourth quarter 2011 interim dividend.

Following this issue, the total number of A shares in issuance is 3,696,048,510 and the total number of B shares is 2,661,403,172. Royal Dutch Shell plc holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
