Royal Dutch Shell plc: issuance of new shares

Royal Dutch Shell plc announces that it has today issued 34,249,652 A Ordinary shares in relation to the scrip dividend programme for the third quarter 2012 interim dividend.

Following this issue, the total number of A shares in issuance is 3,772,388,687 and the total number of B shares is 2,617,715,189. Royal Dutch Shell plc holds no ordinary shares in Treasury.
