We continue to recruit for a number of different vacancies within the Information Management space for the Shell’s Major Energy Projects.  Please find below an overview of the various opportunities.
Due to the increasing energy demand, Shell is investing in groundbreaking energy projects. Our portfolio includes the full range of Mega (multi-billion), midsize and smaller projects (offshore, onshore, deep water, LNG), spread over different parts of the world. Currently we seek to recruit 15 Information Management professionals in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe / Middle East regions.

 
Information Management (IM) in Shell’s major energy projects
IM is an integral part of the project delivery and delivers virtual representations of our physical assets. Our virtual asset contains technical data and documents proving the integrity and safety and assuring that we retrieve the right information at the right place at the right moment. Our IM professionals play a key role in the successful delivery of our major projects, working together with the engineering disciplines.

Project Information Management Lead

·     1 in Houston (USA)

·     1 in Calgary (CA)

·     2 in Bangalore (IN), Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (MY)

·     1 in Norway (Stavanger)

·     1 in Lagos, Nigeria

You will lead a team and manage IM activities in one of our major projects, covering knowledge management, data and document control.

You will prepare and execute the final handover of project deliverables to the asset operations team.

Knowledge of the Information Management domain, typical processes and reporting.

Proven experience as Document or Data Control Lead in a project environment.

Project Information Management Consultant

·     2 in Houston / New Orleans (USA) or Calgary (CA)

·     1 in Bangalore (IN)

·     1 in Rijswijk (NL) or in Stavanger (NO)

 

You will be part of the global Centre of Excellence for IM in Shell.

Your will advise and support (incl. short term assignments) project execution teams around the world promoting best practices and the use of the standards and guides in the IM space

Significant experience in Information Management in oil & gas projects.

Preferably previous experience as IM Leads in projects.

Preferably previous consulting experience.

Project Document Control Lead

·     1 Perth (Australia)

 

You will lead a team of document controllers, develop and implement governing specifications and procedures and manage all paper and electronic document flows in and out of a project.

Experience in the oil & gas industry as a Document Controller with proven experience in leading small teams.

Project Data Control Lead

·      1 in Houston (USA)

·     1 in Bangalore (IN) or Singapore

 

You will lead a team of data controllers, develop and implement governing specifications and procedures and manage all engineering data flows in and out of a project.

Experience in the oil & gas industry as a Data Controller with knowledge of data control processes, data models and Data Warehouse type software.

Proven experience in leading small teams.
