Architecture jobs:
Architecture defines the future state of the Shell IT landscape looking at Business, Information (Data and Application) and Technical Architecture for each of the Portfolios such as Retail, Subsurface, etc.. and thereby creating the overall IT Technology Strategy for Shell. In addition we define the roadmaps getting from the Current to this Future state. For each IT Project we also are accountable for the IT landscape to be implemented as part of that Project.

Subsurface Software jobs:
Within TaCIT, the Subsurface Software organization has the mandate to develop and deploy differentiating subsurface software technologies, working closely with our Research and Deployment divisions. To enable this we employ domain “hybrids”, who have excellent knowledge of their subsurface discipline, combined with a capability to translate user requirements into a form suitable for software development and deployment. These hybrids are also essential in the development of Best Practice workflows and the dissemination/replication of these across our global business.

Strategy, Portfolio and Innovation jobs:
The Strategy, Portfolio and Innovation (SPI) organization has accountability and responsibility for:
- Building and refreshing the overall strategy for TaCIT with a focus on competitive differentiation.
- Managing the funnel of TaCIT innovation opportunities from identification through opportunity development and capability build through Centers of Expertise (COEs)
- Setting the strategic direction, building longer term roadmaps, maintaining strategic vendor relations, making build vs. buy decisions and creating Group Investment Proposals in the areas of subsurface, wells, SMART, engineering, capital projects, customer value technologies and technical IT infrastructure
- Sourcing, marketing, planning and reporting support for the overall TaCIT Business Unit.
- Through the Center of Expertise for High Performance Computing, Advanced Sensing and Advanced Computational Science defining highly competitive differentiation solutions in close cooperation with the business and building the necessary capabilities and relationships.

The portfolio of services covers a broad spectrum of technologies such as high performance computing, storage and visualization, specialized networking, application streaming and mobile consumer solutions. It runs across disciplines such as geophysics, geomatics, reservoir modeling, engineering and process control. We are in need of professionals with IT and/or domain expertise in these areas.
