Pearl GTL, Prelude FLNG and Perdido
When we say that our engineers are at the forefront of innovation within the industry, we mean it. Three of our largest projects – Pearl GTL, Prelude FLNG and Perdido – are all examples of where we are breaking new ground in the industry. Pearl GTL, located at the heart of Qatar, is the world’s largest plant converting natural gas into kerosene, lubricants and cleaner-burning fuels.
Perdido is moored in 2,450 metres of water in the Gulf of Mexico and is the deepest offshore oil drilling and production platform in the world. Prelude, meanwhile, will be the world’s first floating liquid natural gas project. Each one is at the vanguard of their respective technologies.
These are projects that are changing the energy industry, and each requires innovations and technology beyond anything ever seen before. Our team of Project Engineers and Project Managers who lead these developments and the thousands of engineers who staff them, in facing their challenges, help make sure they are run safely and efficiently.
With each project continuing to carve a path for our future, and new opportunities being made every day, our Project Engineering jobs are the most exciting, innovative and rewarding in the industry.
