Cude Oil
Leading through innovation and teamwork
The crude oil market is dynamic. Change is rapid, and the need for innovation is constant. Our Crude Oil Trading & Supply group is a global leader, marketing and trading an average of 8 million barrels of oil per day for refineries and other customers. Our teams have experience. They know the value of working together and sharing knowledge as well as insights and goals.
Their knowledge of producers and buyers gives them the advantage of being able to innovate and develop distinct market propositions. They also understand how important it is to give graduates the support and face-to-face training you need to start working on your own projects and trades as quickly as possible.
Energy
A focus on broad experience and rapid learning
Energy Trading has a broad remit– both in terms of the Shell group’s global reach and the size of our portfolio. We market and trade gas, power and CO2.Through two businesses, Shell Energy North America (US) and Shell Energy Europe, we have access to resources including power generation and gas storage assets as well as customers such as regional and local distribution companies, power generators, utilities and municipalities. We also trade with Shell’s upstream companies – adding another dimension to our activities.
Our offices stretch from Calgary and Houston to London, giving our graduates opportunities to broaden their outlook and experience an innovative business. In Energy Trading, learning is rapid and you’ll have the opportunity to develop new ideas with the support of a highly skilled team.
Oil Products
A network that supports your progress
In Shell Trading, we’ve built a unified products division to give our customers a single focus for everything made in our refining and processing facilities.
Whether its Chemical Feedstocks, Gasoline and Components, Middle Distillates (including jet fuels) Fuel Oils or Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG), our network forms one of the largest physical trading groups in the world.
Every day, we’re responsible for handling over 5 million barrels of products and feedstocks. The pace is rapid, and we ask people to be flexible, agile and ready to learn quickly. In return, we offer opportunities for graduates to learn first-hand how to trade products and manage exposures to risk.
Shell International LNG supply
Meeting growing demand and building new skills
The market for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is large and growing. Shell Trading is at the centre of that progress. With offices in The Hague, Dubai, Singapore and Houston, we buy and sell LNG to and from other Shell companies, our partners and third parties. We’re one of the largest charterers of oil tankers in the world. Our resources, record of reliability and experience ensure we can meet the long-term needs of our clients and respond flexibly when economic or geo-political changes occur.
