Responsibilities:
Supporting operations to achieve process safety, production, reliability and cost goals through application of “engineering and technology know-how”. Working with project teams to deploy effective technology, reduce engineering design hours and achieve flawless start up and operation all in support of top quartile project delivery;
- Developing and deploying tools, processes and people to manage cost and schedule in projects;
- Providing value assurance of projects (test of commercial, technical and sustainability fitness); and
- Increasing engineering capability by developing people, driving global policy, practices and tools
In particular, we want to reinforce the projects, engineering, operations and maintenance capabilities in our locations Rijswijk and Amsterdam. There are also opportunities in Aberdeen.
We are seeking to recruit 40 Technical Professionals with a strong proven track record of performance in various areas of specialization:
Requirements:
- Engineering professionals with (substantial to significant) demonstrated experience with strong affinity in relevant discipline preferably in oil & gas industry
- With technical academic background in Engineering (all disciplines), Process Engineering and Production Technology
- Proven ability to lead and work in multi-disciplined teams and be able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of initiative and independence
- Field experience is a prerequisite. Process safety engineering experience is a strong advantage. Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal, communication, advocacy and influencing skills
- Genuine belief in and respect for people, where diversity and differences are seen as opportunities for enhancing Shell’s performance
