From Tuesday 17 to Thursday June 19, 2014, Markus Droll, Vice President Nigeria and Gabon, visited Shell Gabon.
Shell Gabon had the honour of welcoming Ben van Beurden, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell plc, on Monday, June 2, 2014. The busy schedule for this historic visit included a working session with the Leadership Team, a communications meeting with employees and a visit to the Gamba terminal and also the offshore drillship rig Noble Globetrotter II, currently located in deep water.

The forest elephant is a species essential to conservation of the protected areas of the Gamba Complex (GC), the focus of the Smithsonian Institution’s Gabon Biodiversity Program (GBP). Saturday 13th October was a special day for Shell Gabon. Indeed, the company celebrated at Gamba, the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the Gamba field.
