Cindy Gaddis

Cindy Gaddis joined the Chemicals Leadership Team in August 2009 as Vice President Finance. Prior to this appointment, she was a member of the Global Manufacturing Finance Leadership Team as Regional Finance Manager, Manufacturing Gulf Coast Region.

Cindy joined Shell in the US in 1985 as a Financial Representative supporting Computer and Communications Technology, before holding roles in the Downstream: Oil Products organisation, including Accounting Supervisor for Crude Oil & Refined Products and Partnership Financial Accountant for the Deer Park Refining Limited Partnership – a joint venture with Pemex.

Cindy then spent about six years in Exploration and Production Finance in the US as the Finance Manager/Controller for the Onshore business and as Manager of the SEPCo Onshore Accounting organisation. She moved to Central Finance – Finance & Management Consultancy (F&MC) first as a Senior Business Consultant and then as Leader of the Houston-based consultancy team.

Following this, she took on the role of Regional Finance Manager Manufacturing Gulf Coast Region, where she was responsible for the finance activities for the Shell Refineries and Chemicals plants in the region. Additionally, she was Shell’s Owner Staff representative to the Motiva joint venture. 

Cindy is an honors graduate from the University of Southern Mississippi in the US, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She has also completed Mid-level and Business leadership courses at Wharton and the University of Houston and Texas, respectively.

Cindy is based in the UK and is married with two children. During her spare time she likes to read mystery novels, listen to music, and travel. Additionally, she does volunteer work with youth organisations.
