Aslam Moola

Aslam Moola is the Shell Chemicals New Business Development Manager for the Middle East, responsible for developing growth in the region. Aslam joined Shell in December 2005, as Marketing Director for Sadaf, a 50:50 joint venture with SABIC in Saudi Arabia. In this role he was responsible for the chlor alkali and crude industrial ethanol portfolio.

Prior to joining Shell, Aslam spent two years with Royal Vopak, responsible for setting up its regional office in Dubai and managing its regional growth agenda. Aslam also spent 12 years with Sasol, holding various technical and commercial roles in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. In his last role, he managed the regional office in Dubai as Executive Vice President, Sasol Gulf.

Aslam Moola holds a postgraduate degree in Organic Chemistry.
