Shell Chemicals has been ranked Number 6 and Number 7 respectively in the Chemical Week and ICIS listings of the world’s top chemical companies for 2012.
For two years running, Shell Chemicals has maintained its strong position on two of the main industry listings of the world’s top chemical companies.
Despite stiff competition, we held our own through our growth strategy - to boost capacity and efficiency in our existing operations, and build world-scale assets, often with venture partners.
The annual rankings rate companies on the basis of sales in the previous year.
