Sulphuric acid plants

As new legislation forces lower SO2 emissions from sulphuric acid plants, plants with single absorption sulphuric acid are increasingly faced with the challenge of upgrading to a double absorption sulphuric acid plant. Or, at the very least, to put in place a technology that would reduce their emissions from sulphuric acid plant’s tail gas to reach double absorption levels. By implementing double absorption technology in an existing single absorption acid plant can imply:
