Press Release

Shell Aviation participates at MEBA and introduces new products to the Middle East market

During the event, Shell Aviation will host a presentation given by experts flown in from Shell Aviation London to talk about 2 products the company will be introducing to the region, Shell AeroShell Ascender lubricant and Shell Aero Jet fuel.

Shell Aviation will be participating at the Middle East Business Aviation event which will be held at the Dubai Airport Expo from 16 to 18 November 2008. The event comes at a time when the Middle East is expected to become the world’s fastest expanding market for private jets. Industry experts forecast that the region will account for $720 million of the private jet market this year.

During the event, Shell Aviation will host a presentation given by experts flown in from Shell Aviation London to talk about 2 products the company will be introducing to the region, Shell AeroShell Ascender lubricant and Shell Aero Jet fuel.

Increasingly, Shell’s range of aviation lubricants is becoming available at MROs throughout the region. The AeroShell range features products for calibration, avionics cooling and hydraulic use, together with internal and external preservatives for piston and turbine engine aircrafts.

Shell AeroJet is a premium aviation fuel service, offering major benefits to pilots, operators and owners of turbine aircraft. Shell AeroJet minimises problems previously associated with the use of Jet A1 in some business jets, turbo-prop aircraft and helicopters. It offers a range of benefits to operators and owners including anti-icing, anti-fungal and anti-static properties.

The new product introduction to the Middle East market will be the latest addition to the extensive Shell Aviation family of lubricants and fuels, showing that the company can continue to provide a one-stop shop for all its customers’ fuel and lubricant requirements.
